Newark, OH – NYAP Holiday Winter Coat Drive

On Wednesday, November 13, the Newark, OH staff hosted its first ever Holiday Winter Coat Drive. It was organized by Julie Birmingham, one of the Treatment Coordinators, and Breanna Kirby, an intern. The focus was to provide coats for their clientele. They have been accepting donations of new or gently used coats for the last few weeks. They would like to thank everyone who got involved with their project. Jersey Baptist Church in Johnstown donated new hats, scarves and gloves. Members of the Church at Chapel Hill Church in Mount Vernon gave many coats for the cause. Walmart donated a gift card and generous monetary donations were received from outside sources. Jennifer Geiger, Newark Regional Manager said,

We are proud to be able to serve this community and the youth we serve for NYAP. We are hoping that this will be an event that will continue to be utilized in the future.
