Merrillville, IN – NYAP’s Indiana Program Director gives a HUGE Thanks to NYAP’s own CIO in Columbus, OH.

Michelle Corry, Indiana Program Director and Director of Clinical Practice, sent in the following: A huge thanks to Duane Phillips who spent 3 days and nights at the Merrillville site last week to fix the site’s long standing connectivity issue.

For many months, this site has struggled with intermittent connectivity to the NYAP server causing daily, extended interruptions in e-mail and intranet access. Duane, along with the IT department has been working on this problem for several months long distance, installing new equipment, trouble shooting with the cable provider, etc, but it required his presence on site to fix the problem. As is true for many department heads and directors, Duane has more than enough to do every day, so for him to take a 5 hour one way, 3 day road trip to fix the Merrillville site, was truly an above and beyond act, for which, the Merrillville staff are very grateful.

I had the opportunity to work on site 2 days this week, and it appears the problems have been resolved. Thanks Duane!
