Dayton, OH – Dana networks in order to develop relations with area colleges and recruit future marketing, social work, and counseling interns for the Dayton office

Dana Bobalik, Community Resource Coordinator (CRC), Dayton, OH region, was asked to be a panel member with the Southwestern Ohio Council on Higher Education (SOCHE) on February 17th at the Miami Valley Research Park in Kettering, OH.  The event was named The Nuts & Bolts of Internship Programs.  This was an opportunity to network with local educators during a “Reverse Fair” in order to develop relations with area colleges and recruit future marketing, social work, and counseling interns for the Dayton office.  Over 20 local colleges attended and over 60 local businesses and organizations were in attendance for the workshop and panel discussion.  The workshop included:  Advantages of a Co-op/Internship Program, Developing support for a Co-op-/Internship Program, Creating a Quality Co-op/Internship Program, Fundamental Elements of a Successful Program, and Co-op/Internship Best Practices From Our Employee Panel.
